We are thrilled that Thea is finally here! It’s been a great getting to know our new beautiful daughter. Here are a few shots from our past week as a family of four!
We’re very excited about meeting the newest addition to our family (any day now!) But we’re still just as excited about our first daughter. I think I can say now that she is officially potty-trained, she sleeps in her big-kid bed (sometimes), and she blows us away every day with her cuteness and smartness. I think she’s more perfect than the Gerber Baby. Sure I’m biased because I’m her dad, but see for yourself:

Callie is one gorgeous girl. I’ve done photo sessions with her before for fun, but this time we headed out to take her senior photos. It ended up being quite the unusual session…it was HOT, especially for being as pregnant as I am, bugs were everywhere, Callie got attacked by a hornet, my 70-200mm somehow fell out of my bag. Luckily everything ended up working out just fine despite all the drama. And of course Callie still managed to make her photos look effortless.

Kalin & Brian are a very fun couple – as soon as we met them, Kelsey and I felt like we had some new friends. So I definitely enjoyed getting to hang out with them on this beautiful summer evening. We’re especially excited about their wedding next year because they’ll be getting married at our favorite venue of all – Oak Hill in Galena, IL!

Last Saturday, I woke up at the crack of dawn and met this wonderful couple at Madison’s fabulous farmers’ market. These two did such an amazing job maneuvering around the crowds and small booths to get some great shots. The fresh flowers, bakeries, and herbs we were around smelled amazing and I loved all the unique signs and details to capture along the way. It was such a fun location for engagement photos!
