Lauren & Clayton’s springtime wedding was a joy to photograph. With Clayton’s military assignments, these two have learned to live a life of flexibility, patience, and understanding for each other and you could definitely see those qualities shine on their wedding day. The wedding details, from sparkly shoes to inventive table centerpieces, were full of springtime color. They tied the knot at Blackhawk Church and then stopped at a few Madison landmarks for photos en route to the Elks Club where Bucky Badger came to help get the party going.

The versatile and beautiful Memorial Union provided the perfect location amid unpredictable Wisconsin March weather for Abbey & Matt’s wedding. 1,000+ origami cranes, each hand-folded by Abbey’s sister, adorned the Great Hall where Abbey & Matt tied the knot and celebrated into the night with their closest family and friends.

For anyone contemplating a destination wedding, consider that you get to vacation with your closest friends and family, you can enjoy beautiful weather out of season, you don’t have to drive home after the reception, and you can end up with photos like these.

Brittany & Matt – Madison Wedding Photography

Brittany and Matt did a great job of making their wedding day all their own. Decor came from Brittany’s grandmother’s own personal collection (plus a bit from À La Crate Vintage Rentals), photo ops were found at the exact site of Matt’s proposal to Brittany, and don’t even get me started on the dessert table, stocked by miniature pies from Humble. Butane heaters kept guests warm and the dance floor crowded as this outstanding couple celebrated their marriage into the night.

Kelsey and I got to know Cortney and Jeff a little bit at Cortney’s sister Kalin’s wedding, so when Cortney emailed asking us to photograph her and Jeff’s wedding, we knew that they would be a blast to work with and we were super excited that we were available. A beautiful evening in Chicago and a couple confetti cannons got their photos off to a great start during this engagement session.
